As a server owner, I found most spam filters sucked and I hated getting all these unread messages all the time. Discord AutoMod missed obvious spam, and other bots just muted people for chatting too fast. I wanted something that would just work - immediately.

How does it work?

Bot Blocker monitors incoming messages and looks for users sending identical content across multiple channels within a short time frame.

If a user matches this pattern - which is typical of spam bots - they’re automatically timed out, their messages are deleted, and moderators are alerted with quick-action buttons to ban or revoke the timeout.

It’s designed to work instantly, without needing commands or complex setup, and avoids false positives (e.g users typing too fast) that traditional spam filters often trigger.

By default, if a user sends an identical message into 3 channels within 8 seconds, they'll be timed out for 12 hours.

The number of channels a user needs to send identical messages into, within 8 seconds, for them to be flagged.

The time that the user is given a timeout for upon being flagged.

If you do not want a timeout at all, you can simply set it to '0'.

Your moderator channel will receive this message.
Users who are banned via the ban button will receive a simple, advertising-less message. :)
