How does it work?

Reputation is designed to keep track of users who are making a positive impact to your server. It allows server owners to reward users who are making consistent contributions - whether they are members of your community, or even your own staff team.

We added it to our community help server because we wanted to motivate and recognise people who volunteered their time assisting others.

But, this is a hugely customisable module:

Do you want members to use commands to give reputation? Where can these commands be used? Can reputation be given automatically? Where can reputation be given automatically? How often can reputation be given? Would you like a log of reputation changes?

Reputation can be given in two ways:

  1. When a user interacts with your Reputation Button. (/rep-me).

  2. Automatically, when 686 Utilities detects a user saying a variation of thanks / thank you to you.

This is achieved either through a reply, or an @ mention.

Server reputation history cannot be deleted through a command at this time - please reach out to our team and we can do this for you.

The available commands are:

  • /rep <@user>

    • View the reputation of a specific user.

  • /rep-leaderboard <Lookback>

    • View the server reputation leaderboard, broken down into weekly, monthly & all-time.

  • /rep-remove <@user> [Server Staff Only]

    • Remove a reputation point from a user.

  • /rep-me

    • Send a button that users can click on to give you reputation.

Whether reputation can be issued automatically via messages that thank someone with a mention, or in a reply.

Blacklist specific channels to prevent Automatic Reputation being triggered in them.

Specify a logging channel where reputation additions / removals are audited to.

The time (in hours) that needs to pass before a user can give reputation to the same person again.

You can use a decimal place (i.e 90 minutes is 1.5 hours).
