How does it work?

686 Utilities takes advantage of the Apps menu that users can access by right-clicking on a message. With this enabled, users can efficiently report messages to server staff without the need for back & forth conversation or the use of ticketing.

Configurations

Some servers may want users to provide a reason attached to their report. If this is desired, this feature can be enabled.

Looking to disable In-Built Discord Reports?

While you can disable this via the Configuration Panel along with all other features, this will not remove the option in the Apps menu; it just prevents users from using it by informing them that reporting messages has been disabled. This is due to restrictions imposed by the Discord API that prevent 'hot-unregistering' the menu.

However, if you'd like to remove the Apps menu option entirely, this is possible by navigating to Server Settings --> Integrations --> 686 Utilities --> Report Message. There you can add an override to prevent it from being displayed.

Right click on a message to view this menu.
