# Terms & Privacy

When using 686 Utilities, you agree to these terms.

## Usage

When using 686 Utilities, you agree to use it for its intended purpose.\
As a free service, we don't tolerate disruption in any form. Additionally, our features must not be put behind a paywall within enrolled servers. \
\
We reserve the right to take action with or without due reason, which could involve blacklisting servers & users.

## Automatic File Reading

By uploading your file to our reading service, you agree you are not modifying your file in an attempt to disrupt bot functionality.

You *are* allowed to use Automatic File Reading service for personal use, *and* provide proxy support. This involves providing support to other people. This is *not* prohibited.

### Standby Mode

When Standby Mode is enabled in a server, RagePluginHook logs uploaded *outside* of the log reading channel may be **lightly processed**.

This lightweight scan does **not** compare your log to our plugin database (only checking your GTAV, RPH & LSPDFR versions) and avoids full parsing. It is used solely to generate tools — such as plugin lists, crash extraction, and the option to trigger full log reading manually via buttons.

No in-depth analysis is performed unless you or server staff explicitly click **“Read Log Automatically”**.

You may opt out of Standby Mode entirely via the `/privacy` command in any server using 686 Utilities.

## Data Collection

We want you to feel comfortable using our services. That's why we are both transparent and flexible about our data collection.

*As of the 20th February, we introduced our privacy panel which is accessible within any server with 686 Utilities via /privacy.*

We collect:

* Server Data: IDs, Ownership & Size.
* User Data: IDs.
* Automatic File Reading Data.
  * We generate an internal report for each file to assist us with improving our services.
  * Your file may include a crash caused by a plugin. Plugin Developers can sign up through 686 Utilities to receive bug reports which include your log file.
    * You can opt-out of this functionality via our privacy panel.
  * Your file may be temporarily stored on our server in order for us to perform our functionality. All temporary files stay on the server for no more than a few seconds.
* Gameplay Tracking Data.
  * This collects data from your Discord Rich Presence, specifically when LSPDFR is running. This data is stored permanently, and is used to perform calculations so we can provide analytic & engagement efforts.
  * You can opt-out of Gameplay Tracking via our privacy panel and request data deletion by contacting us.
* Statistical Data: We may store statistics relating to interactions across 686 Utilities. These will always be numerical.

We do not collect:

* Messages sent to 686 Utilities in Direct Messages.
* Everything else not explicitly mentioned above.

We collect minimal data in order to provide the bots functionality & understand how users interact with out bot.

By using 686 Utilities, you consent to this collection of data.

## Payments

Within 686 Utilities users may choose to donate to our Bot to unlock specific features early. These donations are voluntary and not mandatory for using our functionality.

**Feature unlock:** by making a donation, users can gain early access to features otherwise unavailable (for example, not yet having 200 members for Automatic File Reading). The specifics & eligibility of said features are subject to change at our discretion.

**No Guarantee of Service:** Issues & maintenance or changes in our service may affect availability. Access may be terminated at our discretion, due to changes in our offerings or violations of our terms.

**Non-Refundable Donations:** All donations are final and non-refundable. By donating, users acknowledge that they are not purchasing a product or service, but supporting the development & maintenance of the Bot.

## Third Party Services

Where there are such integrations with third party services, we are not responsible for their terms & policies. Your use of such services is subject to them.

## Liability

We are not liable for issues caused by 686 Utilities when online or offline.

## Support Threads (LSPDFR-TS only)

This area of the privacy policy is only applicable to members of the LSPDFR-TS Discord Server. It explains what data is processed & how it is handled for Support Threads.

**What** do we process?

The bot processes only data required to provide support functionality. For example, message content, attachments & user IDs within a thread. The bot does not read or process messages outside of Support Threads as part of this functionality.

**Why** do we process it?

\+ Allow helpers to assist users directly with improved effectiveness of support over time.\
\+ Summarise support threads to support helpers.\
\+ Identifying the issues & solutions of support threads for future matching.\
\
**How** do we process it?

Support Threads may be automatically processed using in-built tools & third-party AI services to help analyse and organise support information. Your data is not used to train or improve AI models.

**Which** data is stored?

Data relevant to organising information (e.g. summaries, user IDs etc) are stored. Full support thread transcripts are **never stored** permanently.<br>

* [x] Support Threads are **opt-in** and optional; users can use ordinary support channels instead.
* [x] Reasonable technical measures are used to **secure your data** including restricting access & preventing unauthorised use.
* [x] Users can **retroactively request their data is removed** by contacting our team.

## Concluding Remarks

These terms may be updated without notice.\
If you have questions about our policies, we encourage you to reach out via our [Support Server](https://discord.com/invite/A96EqSJavT).
