As of the 6th May, we will be depreciating command channels & roles.

This means that on the 6th May, these settings will be deleted in favour of using Discord's native permission system. This gives you greater control when managing command channels & roles.

Here is a quick guide on transitioning to Discord's system.

1

Reviewing your existing settings

To view your current command channels: /configure > [Setting] Channels > Command Channels.

To view your current command role: /configure > Manual Plugin Check or Mods List > Required Role.

2

Navigate to your Discord Server Settings

Once you are there, select 'Integrations', locate 686 Utilities, and click 'Manage'.

3

Modify your commands

In this menu, you are now able to control who and where commands can be run, on a command-specific basis. This gives you greater control than our legacy command channels & roles.

  • Role & Member overrides

    • This allows you to choose which roles and which specific members can use or not use that command.

  • Channel overrides

    • This allows you to choose which channels can use or not use that command.

We're here to help with any difficulties moving to the new system. Get in touch via our for assistance.

For the /rep-me command, everyone can use it - as long as they aren't in the general channel.
