Getting Started

Thank you for your interest!

Let's setup the bot in your server.

Once you have read our Terms, invite the bot! The owner of the server will receive a DM; this confirms the bot has joined successfully.

By default, 686 Utilities requests Administrator permissions. This is to minimise incorrect configurations, and allow the bot to function as expected.

If you would not like to grant Administrator, this is a list of required permissions.

Manage Server Manage Channels Kick Members Read Messages Send Messages Send Messages in Threads Manage Messages Embed Links Attach Files Read Message History Mention @everyone, @here and All Roles Use External Emojis.

You can now begin configuring 686 Utilities for use. By default, all features are disabled to allow you to easily cherry-pick what features you'd like for your server.

This is what we suggest you do after inviting the bot:

  1. Enable the features you want via /configure > 'Features'. You must do this to start using 686 Utilities.

  2. Setup your staff roles & channels via /configure > 'Channels & Roles'.

  3. Join our support server if you have any questions (there are no stupid questions!) where you can easily get in touch with the team.
